Community Stream Clean
We’re inviting volunteers to join our Mānutewhau Community Awa Clean as part of EcoFest, happening on Saturday 11th April from 10:00am–12:30pm. Come along and help remove litter and debris from the stream and surrounding areas to keep our community clean and beautiful- no experience needed, and all equipment will be provided.
This is a great chance to connect with others and make a positive impact locally, and after the clean-up, the Manutewhau Community Hub will kindly provide refreshments back at the hub for volunteers to enjoy together.
Volunteers should have a reasonable level of fitness, as the role involves walking on uneven ground, bending, and light lifting. We encourage everyone to work at their own pace and let us know if you have any accessibility needs - we’re happy to support where we can.
