Delivery driver

We are looking for someone who lives in the Onehunga/Mt Roskill area to assist with the pick-up and delivery of our comprehensive science kits from our local member schools. Our kits are loaned out at three-weekly intervals and need to be returned to our base for processing and redelivery.
This is a casual role when our regular driver(s) are unavailable or have a heavy workload.
Guaranteed hours on Monday 20th April (first day of term) to deliver kits.
Mileage will be reimbursed.
More details provided on application.

Requirements:

Clean, full NZ driver's licence.
Must have a large car or delivery van or similar. The kits are 79L bins and you must be able to fit at least 8 in your vehicle.
Must be able to lift heavy kits (up to 25kg). We provide a trolley for you to use.
Friendly, happy person who can communicate well as you will be interacting with reception staff at schools.

Time commitment:

A few hours every three weeks as needed.
The delivery schedule is different each three weeks. Days you would be expected to assist would be Thursday, possibly Friday and possibly Monday (but not likely all of these in one cycle).

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
