Morning Food Rescue Driver
Everybody Eats is looking for volunteers interested in supporting our food rescue operations. This role is vital to helping us get the rescued food from our suppliers to our restaurants, to be turned into a nourishing three-course, pay-what-you-can dinners for our communities.
As a Food Rescue Driver, you’ll collect surplus food from donors across the city and deliver it to our restaurant kitchens. You will be required to bring the food into the restaurants and help sort with the kitchen teams. Along the way, you’ll help to build and maintain positive relationships with our food donors and play a key role in reducing food waste while supporting people to eat well.
The role will involve morning starts with flexible hours and days, with a few different scheduling options likely to be available.

- Full, clean driver’s licence (Class 1)
- Available for morning starts.
- Comfortable driving around the city to collect and deliver food
- Confident lifting and carrying large boxes and crates of food
- Reliable and organised, with good communication skills
