Event Hosts
Established in 2022, artists come from across the country and the Asia Pacific to share skills and knowledge through artist demonstrations, talks, workshops and a print fair. Printopia is an artist run, not-for-profit event that celebrates and promotes the art of printmaking and papermaking both here and abroad.
We are looking for volunteers who can help out during the festival as Visitor Hosts welcoming guest, and helping them to navigate the festival programme and venue. We also need volunteers to assist artists deliver workshops, demos and drop-in printing activities.
This is a free, fun, community focused event with a great, buzzy atmosphere. It’s an amazing way to connect with and support our amazing arts community who gain so much from being part of this event.
All new volunteers will need to attend an in person induction on site the weekend before. During your shift you’ll receive a Printopia branded apron which you can take home with you.
This role is best suited to a people person with an outgoing personality, confident talking to a wide range of people, self-motivated and able to think on your feet and flexible.
High level of communication skills and English is essential.
Customer service experience is ideal but not essential.
One 5 hour shift either Friday 1 May, Saturday 2 May or Sunday 3 May.
