Kitchen Lead
The Social Food Pantry (PSN’s community food support service) operates every Tuesday and Friday. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Volunteer Kitchen Lead to oversee the planning, preparation, service, and clean-up of our community lunch.
This role involves leading the delivery of a healthy, nutritious meal for approximately 20 community members per service, using predominantly rescued food. You will be supported by on-site staff and assisted by other volunteers to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-organised meal service.

• Lead the planning, preparation, serving, and clean-up of the community meal

• Ensure meals are prepared and served in a safe and inclusive environment
Skills and Experience
• Organised and reliable
• Creative interest in healthy cooking
• Ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds
• Genuine passion for supporting the community
• Available to volunteer either Tuesdays and Fridays 9.30am to 1.00pm
• Able to commit for a minimum of three months
• Must be 18 years or older
