Relay For Life | Event Volunteer

We’re looking for a group of volunteers to support Relay For Life across a range of roles and times throughout the event. Volunteers help ensure the day runs smoothly, safely, and is a positive experience for participants, teams, and the wider community.

Volunteer roles may include:

• Assisting with event set‑up and pack‑down
• Supporting registration and information areas
• Helping participants, teams, and vendors throughout the event
• Supporting activities, candle ceremony, and key moments on the day

• Ability to arrange your own transport to and from the event venue
• A reasonable level of physical fitness, as most roles involve standing, walking, and being active around the venue
• Willingness to work outdoors and in a busy event environment
• Comfortable working as part of a team and following direction from Area Leads and Cancer Society staff
• Reliable and able to commit to your agreed shift(s)
• Flexible and willing to support other areas of the event if needed, especially during busy periods

2 - 5 hours per shift, depending on the role
