Op Shop Assistant (Weekends) – North Shore

Our Habitat for Humanity Northern Region North Shore ReStore is looking for friendly, reliable Volunteer Op Shop Assistants to join our afternoon team. What You’ll Do ✅ Welcome customers and provide great customer service ✅ Sort, price, and display donated goods ✅ Keep the shop tidy, organised, and inviting ✅ Assist with sales, stocking, and general op shop tasks ✅ Be part of a fun, supportive volunteer community
We’re looking for volunteers who: ✅ Are friendly, reliable, and enjoy working with people ✅ Are physically able to lift light–medium items (with support if needed) ✅ ✅ Can stand and move around the store during the shift ✅ Are comfortable working in a team environment ✅ Are happy to follow shop guidelines and health & safety practices ✅ Can commit to a regular morning shift (weekly) ✅ Are 18 years or older (or 16+ with parental consent ✅ No retail experience required — we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Weekend shifts available Saturday–Sunday Flexible options—volunteer once a week or more!
