Board Member (Volunteer)
WanderSearch Auckland Charitable Trust is seeking a committed professional to join our Board of Trustees. We’re looking for someone who can support our volunteers by improving operational processes and contribute to the long-term sustainability of our vital service.
WanderSearch provides a location device service that supports people at risk of going missing, including those living with dementia, autism, and other cognitive conditions. Working closely with NZ Police and local agencies, our service gives peace of mind to families and carers, knowing their loved ones can be found quickly if they go missing.
As an experienced professional, you will:
• Will provide input guidance on various strategic and operational matters, helping elevate the brand to attract new sponsorships or donations.
• Bring ideas that supports the delivery of our three-year strategy
• Bring your creative thinking and network to grow our supporter and donor base.

• Sound judgement and decision making
• Genuinely care about the charity’s mission and beneficiaries
• Understand (or are willing to learn) the cause and community
• Will be active and an advocate for the charity, not just attend meetings
