Changes Coordinator - Henderson

We provide tracking devices to those with a cognitive impairment ie, dementia, autism who wander. You will be responsible for dropping off a new tracking device to up to five clients each month. This is a critical volunteer role for our organisation as it is imperative our clients always have a workable tracking device available to them for their safety. You will meet new people, help to keep our clients safe and provide peace of mind to their friends & whanau.

Requirements:

You will be a well organised and careful record keeper, with good interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature. A natural communicator – phone, online and in person.
It would be advantageous, but not necessary if you had previous experience with people with cognitive impairments e.g. Dementia, Autism, Down Syndrome etc

You will need to be NZ Police vetted and hold a full NZ Drivers licence.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

1 - 4 hours a month.
Working in with the client you are doing the tracking device change for, you can generally pick your own hours to do your deliveries. The changes can usually be done during the day, but with school aged children they may need to be done after school, in the early evening or on a weekend.
We will reimburse any mileage expense you incur during WanderSearch Auckland service in the form of petrol gift cards.
This is an ongoing role.
