Arts Content Creator (Social Media)

Love making fun, on-trend content and want to build your portfolio in a real arts environment? Lake House Arts is looking for a creative volunteer to help capture the energy of our galleries, classes, events and community — with a strong focus on video content.

What you’ll be doing

Filming short-form video content (Reels + Stories)

Editing quick, on-trend clips using CapCut

Creating content for Instagram + Facebook

Writing short captions in a clear, engaging tone

Capturing behind-the-scenes moments, artist vibes, classes + events

We’re looking for someone who is:

✅ Available at least 2 days a week (flexible days/times)
✅ Confident creating video-first content
✅ Comfortable using Instagram + Facebook daily
✅ Skilled (or growing skills) in CapCut
✅ Has strong spoken and written English
✅ Studying the arts, media, design, marketing, or similar (or naturally creative!)

Bonus points if you:

Love community arts and storytelling

Feel confident chatting on camera / interviewing artists

Can follow trends while still keeping content warm + professional

Requirements:

Available at least 2 days per week (flexible days/times)

Confident creating video-first content (Reels/short clips)

Comfortable using Instagram + Facebook

Able to edit using CapCut (or similar)

Strong spoken and written English

Studying arts / creative media / marketing / design (or similar experience)

Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently

Comfortable speaking on camera / interviewing people

Good eye for trends + aesthetic content

Interested in community arts and storytelling

Time commitment:

Minimum 2 days per week

Flexible days, within 9:00am – 3:00pm

Approx. 3–6 hours per shift (depending on content needs)
