Administration Support – Healthy Homes Programme

Our team provides essential interventions such as curtains, minor repairs, education, and home assessments to help improve overall wellbeing and reduce housing-related health risks.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated and organised Volunteer Administration Support person to join our Healthy Homes team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, is comfortable with admin tasks, and wants to make a genuine impact in their community. Your support will help us stay organised, improve our services, and maintain strong relationships with the whānau we work with.

Requirements:

KEY TASKS:
Liaising with whānau supported through our Healthy Homes Programme (e.g., phone calls, emails, follow-ups)
Inputting and updating information accurately in our data management system
Providing general administrative support to the Healthy Homes team as needed

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
Comfortable using computers and basic data systems (training provided)
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle information carefully and confidentially
Friendly, respectful, and confident communicating with whānau
Organised and able to manage tasks independently
Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, working with whānau and community services

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Days and hours are flexible, but we are looking for someone who can volunteer regular, consistent hours each week.
