Sewing Help Needed

At the Disabled Citizens' Opshop, we are committed to sustainability and minimising our clothing-waste footprint. We often have clothing donated which is in decent condition, with the exception of a little tear or an unruly zipper or button. We're on the lookout for a person or two who would be able to come in and grab a few items to take home, repair in their own time, and then return to our opshop. If this sounds like you, please get in touch!

Requirements:

You should either be confident with precise hand sewing or have a sewing machine available for use.

Time commitment:

The ability to come in and pick-up/drop off clothes during our open hours (Mon-Fri, 10am-2.30pm). If that timing doesn't work for you, please still get in touch as we may be able to work something else out.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
