Treasurer (Board Trustee)
Littlemore provides essential baby items to families in need across Auckland.
Seeking to recruit an accountancy student, ideally in your final year (or post-grad), in the voluntary role as Treasurer on our Board.
1-2 year commitment required.
Working from home.
Work closely and assisted by General Manager and Chair.

- Is a signatory to the bank accounts
- Approves payments for release
- Sets up and approves payments related to the employee e.g. expense claims
- Updates any payroll changes in iPayroll
- Prepares quarterly financial reports for the Board (pulled from Xero)
- Prepares annual financial report
- Completes annual return
- Reviews draft budget and set-up in Xero
- Is a signatory for grants
- Is a contact for funder queries as required
- Attend four board meetings p/year
Basic financial skills – enough to review P&L and balance sheet
Understanding (or ability to learn) of charitable reporting requirements for tier 4 charities
Basic proficiency (or ability to learn) of Xero
Flexible - averaging approx. 3 hours p/month.
