Kiwi Culture Tour Van Driver April 2026

We are excited to welcome students from across the globe for an intercultural experience that allows them to fully engage with the culture of Aotearoa New Zealand. This volunteer driving position involves providing transportation from Auckland Airport and throughout Auckland on the 13th and 14th of April, along with four overnight stays from the 15th to the 19th of April. You will be accompanied by an AFS staff member. Your primary responsibility will be driving and ensuring the safety of students as they are transported to various locations in the North Island, including Paihia and the Bay of Islands. A van will be supplied, along with coverage for food and accommodations, meaning there will be no costs incurred by the volunteer. Requirements:

Driver to reside in the greater Auckland area-
Full drivers license-
Must be at least 25 years of age since van is a rental-
Adaptable with scheduling
Ability to work amongst different cultures and ages in a chaperone capacity-
Some physicality required
First Aid certification can be provided if driver is not currently certified-

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Tour dates are 13-18 April 2026. 13 & 14 Auckland area. 4 overnight stays 15-18 returning to Auckland on the 19th.
