Communications and Social Media Coordinator

Responsibilities:
Social Media and Digital Content
• Manage the day-to-day activity across all social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Develop and schedule engaging, on-brand content including graphics, photos, stories, and videos.
• Monitor engagement, respond to messages, and grow social media audiences.
Communications and Campaigns
• Support the creation of newsletters, flyers, posters, and other communication materials.
• Assist in the delivery of communication campaigns, including fundraising, events, service promotions, and community initiatives.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience:
• Experience managing social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of branding, marketing principles, and digital trends.
• Canva, and basic photo/video editing and other tools.
• Creative storytelling and visual communication skills.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Flexible 8-16 hrs per week
