Visual art Randwick Park Māpura Studios - disability arts!

As a volunteer, your role will involve helping to set up materials before each class and assisting with packing up afterward. You’ll work closely with the tutor supporting them during sessions as part of the team. You'll participate in class activities, including sharing circles, discussions, and warm-up exercises, within the structure provided by the tutor. We ask that you arrive on time, stay for your agreed shift, and keep us informed if you’re unable to make it.
This role would suit someone passionate about people, who is able to both follow the lead of the tutor as well as pick up on what is required unprompted. You do not need experience with art just a strong ability to be sensitive to the needs of others. We have been fortunate to have a volunteer in this group for over 3 years so it would be lovely if you too are looking for a long term commitment.
You can expect a warm and inclusive environment, clear communication and guidance, opportunities to connect with other volunteers, and regular check-ins with space for feedback.
