Volunteers are needed to bring joy to residents in a care home for older adults. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to 1 hour every week to assist with activities and offer social support for residents. This role is currently only available on weekdays between 9am-3.30pm.

Requirements:

Most of all, we look for kind-hearted volunteers who are willing to give some of their time to help others. Volunteers also need to be reliable, have confidence to interact with care home residents (with assistance from other volunteers and staff), and have availability to volunteer on a weekday between 9am-3.30pm.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

1 hour per week is ideal on a weekday 9am-3.30pm. Fortnightly volunteering may also be possible.
