Op Shop Retail Assistant - Remuera
Somervell Op Shop is looking for a new Thursday morning volunteer who is available twice a month! Our shifts are three hours long, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
We are a lovely, independent, pocket-sized opportunity shop located in Remuera, Auckland. Like many op shops, our store is a labour of love, run by our beautiful volunteers who are the heart and soul of the place.
Community and sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We have been helping communities since 1991. Last year we donated funds to Anxiety New Zealand Trust, Sunday Blessings, Orange Sky, Migrant Refugee Settlement Trust and Island Child. We also donate goods to Plunket, SPCA and local refugees in need.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, helpful and has good communication skills. You must be comfortable with customer service or comfortable with giving it a go! A good command of English is preferred.
3 hour shift, Thursday mornings, twice a month - 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Ideally we would love someone who can commit until the end of December, but will consider those who are available until the end of October.
