Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible to the committee for the financial affairs of the Service, including analysis of the financial needs, financial reporting and monitoring and the completion of the Annual Accounts for presentation to the AGM.

Our organisation works to provide access to financial knowledge and solutions providing phone, virtual or face to face advice and education workshops. Building financial capability supports people to feel confident to make wise judgments about how they use and manage their money in ways that benefit them now and in the future.

Requirements:

Knowledge of accounting practices
Experience using Xero accounting program
Good communication skills
To take an interest in the well being and long term viability of the organisation.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Presently governance meetings are held virtually on the second Monday of each month February to November, 7 pm to 8 pm. We expect tasks to take approximately 1 hour each week and can be done from the volunteers own home.
