Fundraising and Events Assistant
Gain events experience with a high profile and exciting event, we are looking for volunteers who can support either the day before on 7th of June or on the day of the event 8th of June.
Long Lunch Gala will be held at the beautiful Winsford Gardens, Ramarama from noon- 5pm on the 8th of June.
Event information:
Tōtara Hospice’s Gala Charity Long Lunch—an extraordinary afternoon of elegance, connection, and compassion.
Set in a stunning winter garden wonderland, you’ll be treated to a welcome drink and canapés on arrival, followed by a decadent four-course lunch with perfectly paired wines, live entertainment, and the thrill of exclusive silent and live auctions.
Hosted by beloved media personality Mike Puru, with a special appearance from Kate Rodgers, this is more than just a long lunch—it’s a celebration of life, community, and giving back.
Every ticket helps ensure Tōtara Hospice can continue to care for those who need us most.
Looking for bright, enthusiastic and physical fit volunteers. Training will be provided.
Time
Saturday 7 June: Day/ Afternoon
Helping with venue set up, setting tables and chairs, decorating- any other tasks required from the team.
Sunday 8 June: Day/ Afternoon
Assisting to run the event, hosting and seating guests, facilitating fundraising events such as raffles and live auctions.
One or both days, depending on your availability.
