Op-Shop Sales Assistant - Stanmore Bay

This role includes a wide variety of task that need to be done in our ReStore Op-Shop, from:
• Customer service
• Merchandise styling
• Item testing and repair
• Assisting the Restore driver with donation pickups
• Assisting donors with donation drop offs
• Cleaning, sorting and stocking merchandise
• Upcycling donated goods
• Light cleaning duties

What support will we give you?
• Our Restore Managers are there to advise and assist you.
• Ongoing support from our Relationships Manager

Requirements:

You don’t need specific retail skills as we will provide the support and training you need for this role.
• Minimum age of 16 years old
• An interest in people and providing customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude
• A flexible attitude and ability to take on varied tasks
• A genuine willingness to be a part of a team and be able to take direction while being able to take initiative and work independently
• Physically capable as there is light lifting and you may be standing for reasonable lengths of time

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Are you able to commit to regular shifts?
Shifts are Monday to Sunday, between 9am and 5pm.
Days and hours are flexible but minimum of 3 hours per shift is preferred
