Op-Shop Sales Assistant - East Tamaki

The sales from our ReStore oo-shops play an integral role in funding Habitat for Humanity Northern's building and home repair programmes.

What you will be doing?
There are a wide range of tasks that need to be done in our Restore including:
• Customer service
• Merchandise styling
• Item testing and repair
• Assisting donors with donation drop offs
• Cleaning, sorting and stocking merchandise
• Upcycling donated goods
• Light cleaning duties

Requirements:

You don’t need specific retail skills as we will provide the support and training you need for this role.
• Min age 16 years old
• An interest in people and providing customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude
• A flexible attitude and ability to take on varied tasks
• A genuine willingness to be a part of a team and be able to take direction while being able to take initiative and work independently
• Physically capable as there is light lifting and you may be standing for reasonable lengths of time

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

FLEXIBLE: Days and hours are what works for you, however we do ask for a regular weekly commitment from you, and a minimum of 3 hour or more (if possible).

Weekdays: 9am to 12:30pm
12:30pm to 4pm
9am to 4pm

Saturdays: 9am to 12noon
12noon to 3pm
9am to 3pm
