As an ACCP Patroller many opportunities will be presented to you regarding training, gaining practical experience, and attending community events/concerts. This is a great way to gain familiarity with Auckland Central, contribute to its safety, and build relationships.
We are a dedicated team of individuals of all ages, from diverse backgrounds, committed to fostering safety in New Zealand’s largest and fastest urban dwelling. Our volunteer rosters are varied, catering to your individuality, lifestyle, and capacity.
As a partner of the Police, we provide additional eyes and ears on the ground while engaging and building relationships with the residents, visitors, and businesses of our vibrant city. Our patrollers increase the overall well-being of the community by providing heightened visibility and safety to its members.

The ability to promote ACCP while engaging with community/businesses.

We would like to expand the number and frequency of our patrols.
Our current rosters are Friday and Saturday nights 1800-2200, Saturday and Sunday mornings 1000-1400.
We are in the process of developing special patrols - with a focus on surveillance (Sunday 1800-2200) , and another late night (Friday/Saturday 2000-2400).
We have team members who are available to patrol Tuesday and Wednesdays, however we require a minimum of 2 people to conduct a patrol. Our Police Liaison Officer also regularly invites our team to patrol with him on Thursdays.
