Heritage and History Guide
Join Our Team as a Heritage and History Tour Guide!
Are you passionate about Auckland's history and eager to share it with others? Lake House Arts is looking for a confident and enthusiastic volunteer to run heritage and history tours. As a tour guide, you will inform the public, showcase our rich history, and present our library as a space for historical exploration. You'll also support our volunteer archivist in preserving our treasured archives.
Details:
When: 1 day a week, from 10 am to 1 pm
Role: Lead tours, share historical insights, engage with visitors, and support our archivist
Requirements: A good understanding of or interest in Auckland history

A good understanding of or strong interest in Auckland history
Confidence in public speaking and engaging with diverse groups
Ability to support our volunteer archivist with archival tasks
Friendly, approachable, and reliable
Available 1 day a week from 10 am to 1 pm ideally Tuesdays
