Toy Library Volunteer Roster Coordinator

The North Shore Community Toy Library is based in Mairangi Bay, and we are currently open on Wednesday evenings, Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. We exist to provide good quality, fun toys for hire to the community regardless of income, ethnicity, and status.

We cater mainly for children 0 to 5 years old, however we have many toys and games to keep bigger kids amused for many more years.

The Roster Coordinator manages the member-volunteers who have agreed to help sorting and checking-in toys at our regular lending sessions. Each roster member must do this quarterly. You will before each school term, open up the roster for the upcoming term, and e-mail volunteers requesting they book themselves in on our web-based Toy Library management system.

After members have had a chance to roster themselves, you will roster any other members who have not already rostered themselves. You will handle queries from members regarding swapping sessions, absences and non-attendance fees. You will assist the Toy Librarians and Committee with roster related issues. You will communicate with the volunteer team over WhatsApp and e-mail. Training provided.
