Transport Co-ordinator
Lonely Miaow need help moving kitties, supplies and donations around Auckland. We are spread across the Greater Auckland area and frequently need to deliver foster cats to our partner stores for adoption, or taken to vets if a foster home isn't able or collect supplies or donations and deliver to other volunteers.
This role will be responsible for coordinating and organizing volunteers to provide this essential support to our organisation.
The candidate will need to have:
excellent communications and organisational skills
ideally, excellent geographical knowledge of Auckland
experience using google mail and is on Facebook, as these are our main tools for communications.
It is not a requirement for this role to be one of the drivers, however, a clean drivers license and your own car would be necessary. Approved travel will be reimbursed.
This is a new role in our organisation, so will initially need to build up processes and team in conjuncture with existing teams and volunteers. Therefore it is anticipated a candidate would need a few hours a day initially, and reducing to 5-10 a week, once a team has been built.
