Accounting Support
Lonely Miaow cares for approximately a 1000 cats a year. We work with our generous vet partners to ensure our fosters are heathy, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, ready to find their forever homes. Consequently we have a significant number of invoices to process and pay each month.
We use Xero for our accounting and the role will also be required to use our internal database and the google suite for email communications.
As is the way with all accounts teams, the beginning of the month is the busiest time and many hands make light work.
Experience using Xero and comfortable using Google mail and generally confident with learning new systems.
Exposure to veterinary/animal care terminology would be a benefit, but it doesn't take long to get up to speed, if not.
Accounts has many peaks and troughs during the month. Ideally we are looking for someone that can commit to a couple of hours a week, but can be flexible, and do more during the peak times of month.
