Radio Lollipop PlayMaker

SHOW YOU CARE - Your kindness will be their joy. Caring people with a sense of fun are needed to help entertain young patients on the children’s wards, scattered around Auckland. Based at Starship, Waitakere and Kidz First - sign up today and find out more about the fun you might have while you create it for children in hospital, one night each week. INFO EVENING to be held on Thursday 27th Feb.

We believe in the healing power of play, and our wonderful volunteers provide smiles and laughter to children at a time when they need it most! Our goal is to add a bit of fun into a child's stay in hospital and help brighten their road to recovery. Radio Lollipop operates in three Auckland-based hospitals and we are seeking new volunteers to join our growing teams. Make 2025 come alive - feel the joy and register today to join our amazing teams around Auckland.

Our volunteers commit to one evening per week, where you create play through crafts, games, music, or one-to-one connections, bringing good vibes to children and families in hospital and helping to create the kind of environment our kids need to heal and recover. Our volunteers come from all walks of life. There is no need for medical or radio experience — you just need to bring your own unique sense of fun

The reward of seeing a quiet, withdrawn child return to a confident, happy child is immense and is something that our volunteers experience on a regular basis. Register your interest through the link below to find out how you can bring laughter and smiles to the kids who need it most.
