Handyman

Devonport Community House runs a large number of sessions and events in-house, and regularly have odd repair jobs of things that require maintenance - door handles, cupboard shelving, etc. We have also recently started slowly repainting our rooms upstairs in stages, and have held a number of Working Bees with volunteers. We would welcome a Handy Man to help with these jobs.

Due to the nature of the runs, the House opening hours, and some last-minute developments, volunteers really need to live in or very close to Devonport village.

A Police background check is required for this role.

We are very flexible and accommodating in terms of hours and times, and will fit in with your schedule! A few hours every other week or so would be great.
If any tasks require supplies or equipment we will endeavour to supply it wherever possible (you won't be out of pocket).
