Volunteers Coordinator

You will provide professional support to our volunteers ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, supported and safe, keeping all information confidential.

Requirements:

You will be responsible for volunteer recruitment and supervision of volunteers. So it is important to have the ability to liaise with different personalities. Knowledge and understanding of issues, cultures and dynamics within families in crisis relating to grief.
Maintain our volunteer database. Liaising with volunteers and managing emails via the charity's volunteer email address.
Liaise with Area Coordinators, helping assist them with the smooth running of all Wellness Days by ensuring volunteer details are forwarded in a timely manner.
Join the Committee and attend six weekly committee meetings via video call, reporting on volunteer numbers etc.
Please note this is an unpaid voluntary position. NZ Residency or Citizenship is a must. If interested, a more detailed position description is available on request.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Approximately three to five hours per week, with flexibility on days.
