Volunteers Coordinator

You will provide professional support to our volunteers ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, supported and safe, keeping all information confidential.

Requirements:

We are searching for a superstar who will be responsible for volunteer recruitment and supervision of volunteers. It is important to have the ability to liaise with different personalities. Knowledge and understanding of issues, cultures and dynamics within families in crisis relating to grief.
Maintain our volunteer database, liaise with volunteers and manage emails via the charity's volunteer email address. Liaise with Area Coordinators, helping assist them with the smooth running of all Wellness Days by ensuring volunteer details are forwarded in a timely manner. Previous administration and co-ordination experience is a must. You will be required to use your initiative and have a great passion for volunteering. Being a member of the committee and attending the six weekly meetings via video call, to collaborate and report on volunteer stats is a must.
Please note this is an unpaid voluntary position. You must have NZ Residency or Citizenship. If interested, a more detailed position description is available on request.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Approximately three to five hours per week, with flexibility on days.
