Retail Assistants - Kumeu
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers with great initiative and “can-do” attitudes to help us run our Hospice Shop.
These are fun and busy roles full of variety. You will interact with customers, sort and price donated goods, display and merchandise, and even learn how to operate the till if you’re interested. As a valued volunteer, we won’t ask you to do any tasks you’re not completely comfortable with, but you will have plenty of opportunities to upskill in retail training and areas you enjoy.
All of the revenue raised by Hospice Shops allows Hospice West Auckland to provide free, specialist end-of-life care to West Aucklanders and their whānau. This is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer for a great cause close to home, contributing to an organisation that directly helps your local community.

• A minimum commitment of one 3-4 hour shift per week on an ongoing basis. Morning and afternoon shifts are available, seven days per week.
• Reliability. Our store will run with a roster of volunteers and we depend on our volunteers to help the store to run smoothly.
