Drop-In Clinic Host
Whanau Awhina Plunket is looking for a special someone to host our Drop-In Clinic on a casual basis on Mondays and Thursdays.
You will:

Provide a warm welcome to clients arriving to the Drop-in Clinic;

Take client details and manage waiting list, this is a first in, first seen service;

offer drinks for those waiting;

Be a friendly ear while people are waiting;

Promote Plunket community services;

keep the waiting area clean and tidy;

help staff set up prior to start (as required);
This role offers you an opportunity to become an ambassador for Whanau Awhina Plunket and help make a genuine difference in the lives of local families.
No prior experience necessary, but we are looking for someone who:
- shares our passion for the work of Whanau Awhina Plunket;
- is warm and has good people skills;
- is confident with babies and young children;
- demonstrates an ability to self-motivate, take initiative and work without supervision.
- Volunteers also need to be reliable and available at short notice for scheduled drop-in clinic sessions
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
This is an ongoing casual position, where you will be contacted if cover is needed on the following days: 4 hours on Mondays from 9am-1pm (Constellation Drive) 4 hours Thursdays from 9am-1pm (Millwater)
