Toy Library Committee Secretary
KEY TASKS
● Organise monthly meetings
● Ensure committee members are prepared to present at monthly meetings
● Ensure committee members complete their actions from each meeting
● Support the Chair with charity operations, including liaising with external parties
● Maintain effective records of legal documents, minutes and reports
● Assist committee members as required
SKILLS REQUIRED
● Secretary or governance or compliance experience
● Minute taking and meeting organisation
● Strong communication skills
● Familiarity with Microsoft and/or Google software products
● Understanding of legal obligations of trustees, employers, etc.
● Informal chat with chairperson over the phone
● Access to home computer and printer
● Attend monthly meetings and AGM at West Auckland Community Toy Library in Green Bay
● Prepare agenda and minutes for each meeting
● Additional time for projects and assisting with annual events
