Red Cross Meals on Wheels Driver - Grey Lynn depot
We are urgently looking for friendly volunteer drivers to deliver meals in Grey Lynn and surrounding neighbourhoods.
Shifts start and end at the meal pick up point on Francis Street in Grey Lynn. Meal pick up time is 11:45am Monday to Friday. We need four volunteers each weekday.
Petrol vouchers are available after a designated number of routes have been completed (or can be donated back to support the programme).

Min age 18 years. Training 4 to 8 hours. Valid driver's licence. Vehicle with valid registration (rego) and warrant of fitness (WoF).
Two character references. You’ll need to be a friendly person who has their own car and a full driver licence.
We’ll train you in how to carry out the role and you’ll be supported by Red Cross volunteers or staff members.
Meal pick-up time is 11:45am Monday to Friday.
A shift usually takes 60-90 minutes to complete. Most of our drivers deliver meals once a week every two weeks, however shifts are flexible
