Handyperson
Age Concern Auckland is looking for Handy men and women who are available to help vulnerable older adults in the community with the odd task around the house. Can you change a light bulb or smoke alarm? Fix or replace a cupboard hinge or broken fence panel, or can you put up a curtain rail or mow an overgrown lawn?.
If you answered yes to these questions, then we are looking for you! This role is varied and flexible, just like the tasks that we get asked to complete.
We are looking for Volunteers that are able to work in and around our 3 offices: Milford North Shore, Avondale and Papatoetoe. If you are interested and want to have a chat, contact the social connections team on socialconnections@ageconak.org.nz.
You will need to be a NZ Resident or NZ Citizen.
A few hours per week. We are flexible and can work around any commitments you may have.
Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
