Senior Communications Specialist for our Board of Trustees
WE NEED YOUR HELP:
Do you want to see women receive the help and care they need for perinatal depression/anxiety as early as possible? Do you have 4hrs/month to give to this cause? Mothers Helpers is looking for people like you to join our small Board of Trustees doing great work. Mothers Helpers provides free and affordable options for holistic assessments including screening, individual and group therapy with data showing 76% of attendees are well within 10 weeks and all attendees showing a 52% reduction in Edinburgh scores.
Mothers Helpers looks for Board members with a passion for the vision, a belief in the mission, the ability to think strategically and aligning values. The role requires approximately 4 hours per month to provide a Marketing and Communications plan and give feedback and recommendations in response to communications reports. There will be quarterly meetings held in the evening and online. The role is voluntary.
There is currently a vacancy in the role of Secretary and Vice Chair but all other roles are simply “Board member.” The Secretary keeps minutes of the meeting and distributes these. The Secretary also acts as a signatory on funding applications. The Vice Chair facilitates the Board meetings on the occasions that the Chair is unavailable to do so and is training to eventually step up to the position of Chair.
4 hours per month to provide a Marketing and Communications plan and give feedback and recommendations in response to communications reports and meeting attendance (a little more time is expected for the role of Secretary or Vice Chair)
