Daffodil Day 2024 - Area Coordinator

Daffodil Day is a crucial event for the Cancer Society, providing us with financial support for our essential services to New Zealanders living with cancer, and to ensure the day runs smoothly with over 2000 volunteers, we need volunteer area coordinators to support our wonderful volunteer collectors.

A current driver’s license and a car/vehicle will be needed as you will be required to drive around on Daffodil Day to ensure our collectors have their high visibility vests, daffodils, eftpos machines, buckets and receive guidance for their roles.  You will also be completing our banking, picking up and dropping off resources.

You will need a device so you can access our software system, which is the platform for managing collector shifts and relevant information, so you will also be confident adapting to software systems.

In the first instance and/or for more detailed information, please email your interest including your best contact number to Sudha Bhana Manager Volunteering sbhana@akcansoc.org.nz
