Seekapong Brand Ambassador
Our Seekapong Brand Ambassadors will engage with players and spectators at events and clubs to help spread the word about how Seekapong is enabling people to connect with others interested in table tennis within their local communities. You will have the support of the Tables in Communities Project Manager who will brief you beforehand and ensure you have all the details and training you need in order to successfully represent The Auckland Table Tennis Association.
Applicants must have good interpersonal skills and be an active user of social media. Applicants should be able and willing to come to Auckland tournaments which are usually held on weekends and club nights which are usually held on Monday evenings. A successful applicant will not be required to come every week, once a fortnight is sufficient.
Auckland Table Tennis Association has confirmed a new COVID-19 vaccination policy and in line with this, we will be requiring employees, and contractors, and all members and volunteers (including coaches, officials, athletes, parents and other visitors) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to entry to our facility and activities from Friday 3 December 2021.
Time commitment is 2 hours per fortnight, unless it is a tournament week. Every year there are about 6x one-off tournaments held at The Auckland Table Tennis Association. Ambassadors are required to stay for at least 2 hours for each of these tournaments. Ambassadors will be notified ahead of time when required to come to any given tournament.
