Van Drivers

We are seeking volunteers to provide safe and reliable transportation for our residents, taking groups out for drives around Auckland once a week. As a volunteer driver, you will be responsible for transporting residents to and from outings, accompanied by the activities team who will offer companionship and support during the journey. Your role will contribute to creating a warm and friendly atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant experience for our residents. Orientation and training, including First Aid, will be provided to support you in this role.

Requirements:

A current valid Drivers License. Volunteers will be required to go through an interview process which includes a police check.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

We estimate that each bus trip will take approximately 3 hours of your time per week.
