Christmas Gift Wrappers Fundraiser

Do you like wrapping presents? And do you like helping Charities to raise fund and help those who are in need?
We are looking for nimble fingers to help us wrap presents for a donation in the lead up to Christmas at The Warehouse Westgate (Westgate Shopping Centre, 12 Fernhill Drive, Westgate, Auckland). Working as part of a team you will be engaging with the public while wrapping their purchases. Your wrapping will be raising much needed funds to support the work of our Plunket Community Services in West and central-west Auckland making the difference of a lifetime in the first 1,000 days of a child’s life by delivering the free community services we offer to families.
Orientation will be given on site at the venue at the start of your shift by the supervisor who will be there to support and advise throughout your shift. This will include health and safety orientation, show how to wrap presents and communicating with the public.

Requirements:

Be confident in working with the public. A can do attitude and be reliable. You must be over 16 years of age to work unsupervised. If you are under 16 you can volunteer but you will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Time commitment:

We are asking for 3 hours of your time from the 19th to 23rd December 2024. Shifts last 3 hours, and there are 4 shifts per day (9am - 12pm; 12pm - 3pm; 3pm - 6pm; & 6pm - 9pm). Shift feels quite quickly, so be quick. Put your name for one of these shifts as you feels work for you. If you can do more than one shift, it would be wonderful! We are flexible with time, register your name for any shift or put yourself down for a few shifts. Don't forget to bring your friends and family to help this noble cause.
