Dismantling & Recycling
We are looking for volunteers to work with our team to process end-of-life electrical and computer items for recycling. This involves taking apart materials and collecting together parts of similar nature.
Your assistance will contribute significantly to our recycling program, which helps fund our organisation, which is dedicated to enriching the lives of people with disabilities.
An interest in recycling, and working with people with disabilities and making a difference to their lives. No experience is required for this role and on the job training is provided.
The volunteer will need to wear comfortable clothes, and closed-toe shoes are required for safety. Abilities will provide protective gloves and glasses as needed.
We welcome volunteers at any time. Our hours of operation are 7:30am - 4:30pm. Volunteers can decide for themselves how many hours they would like to commit to and for how long.
