Helpers for the Drop In Centre

We are looking for a volunteer to help people with disabilities during the day programme at at our drop-in centre in Onehunga. You'll be assisting our clients, who have physical or intellectual disabilities, during activities and at meal times. The Drop In Centre provides a friendly environment for people with disabilities to form new friendships through our scheduled programmes.

We are a faith based organisation with strong Christian values.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and have compassion for our clients. Must have patience and be able to work with varying personalities.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

The center operates 10:00 am to 12.30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday during school term.
