National Volunteer Week 2025: A Celebration of Leaders of Volunteers

During National Volunteer Week 2025 we'll be holding a special celebration as we acknowledge Volunteering Auckland turning 35 years.

This much-anticipated annual event will feature inspiring speakers and live entertainment, followed by nibbles and networking with your fellow volunteer managers from organisations around Auckland.

Guest Speakers are:

  • Sudha Bhana - Cancer Society Auckland-Northland, Manager Volunteering
  • Clare Nash - IHC National Manager, Volunteer & Community Development
  • Nate Whitfield - Hato Hone St John Fundraising specialist; Youth Representative, Volunteering New Zealand board

Entertainment:
Mags Delaney-Moffatt - The Pumphouse, Community Engagement Coordinator

Giving back to the community

After retiring and enjoying many years of family life, we both decided to try and put something back into the community.
