The Ambassador programme is a first in the world retirement transition programme that allows potential retirees to consider volunteering as the next step in their life's journey.
As a employer, this is a chance to consider a practical succession plan for your staff. Involvement with this programme will allow your business to show consideration for the wellbeing of those taking the next step in their life while contributing to the causes with a values match to your CSR and/or Employee Volunteering programme.
As a volunteer involving organisation, this programme will enable access to a range of skilled and talented people with time to give to your cause and support your service programmes.
Our launch will be a part of AUT's Centre for Active Ageing event for International Day of the Older Person 2019 which celebrates "The Journey to Age Equality" by focusing on ways to reduce disparities and ageism and actions to promote social cohesion.
The Ambassadors Programme is a chance to look to the future and see the next phase of life not as a loss but the start of a new adventure.
