Team Talk

19 May 2013 | EVP

Volunteering Auckland's Employee Volunteering Programme has been busy assisting community organizations to get projects completed.

This month one of our newest corporate members, OMD, traded media tools for spades.  The company rallied 75 staff to assist one of our not for profit members, a school, with several projects.  This included the development of a nature trail and the team worked alongside children, weeding and planting.  They also repainted a playground and moved a mountain of mulch.  One of the team was overheard encouraging a young boy to come back and check on the sapling they had just planted together.

Highlights for the team included working with the kids and the fabulous morning tea provided by teachers and parents.
