Project Management Day of Service Event coming to Auckland!

Have you ever struggled with getting projects off the ground, and transforming your great ideas into the success you dreamed of?
The Project Management Institute of NZ are offering their unparalleled expertise in project management to Volunteering Auckland’s non-profit members, through a FREE one-day workshop on Tuesday 14 November 2023. There are limited spaces and applications will only be taken until places are filled – so don’t delay!
The Project Management Day of Service (PMDOS) event gives you the opportunity to learn how to design and implement successful projects – which could cover a range of initiatives including strategic planning, volunteer management, digital/IT transformation, financial, operational improvements, and event planning.
APPLY HERE for the 14 November PMDOS event and give a brief outline of your project idea (or two). Successful applicants will be matched with professional project managers, who can help with a range of expert guidance, including:
• Facilitating definition of a high-level business case
• Defining high level project scope
• Compiling a roadmap or project schedule with work breakdown structure (WBS)
• Conducting risk assessments; or
• Assisting with other project management activities.
These professional project managers understand that it takes time and resources (staff and money) to prepare project plans – that not-for-profit organisations may find scarce – and offer their experience and advice in these specialist areas.
