LoVE is our Leaders of Volunteer Engagement network where you can have the opportunity to discuss, present and learn about various aspects of volunteer engagement. You can also network with your peers across the community voluntary sector in Auckland, those who mobilise, support and advocate for volunteers and volunteering.

Topic: Putting our Stories to Work
Storytelling is so persuasive in our everyday lives that if we want to be captivating in any context, it’s imperative to know what makes a good story. In this interactive discussion we will explore how to become clear, confident, engaging communicators. We will learn to craft a story by finding and sharing experiences that engage people’s minds, grab their hearts and inspire your audience to act long after they have gone.

Parking: Street parking - Please park on the section of Hinemoa Street where it is free all day. It’s about a 3 minute walk to the IHC office at the end of the cul-de-sac in Enterprise Street. There is also a public park on Rawene Road, opposite the Birkenhead Library.
