Monika Divis

Trustee

Monika joined the board in 2023. She has a background in organisational and workforce development focussing on implementing best practice and innovative solutions to learning, leadership, quality, and performance. Over the past 15 years, Monika has contributed to the health and tertiary education sectors through advisory roles on various committees. She has also supported business performance as evaluator, judge and mentor on various regional and national business excellence awards. Her governance roles have included positions on not-for-profit boards such as Mother’s Helpers, NZ Business Excellence Foundation, and Communicare.

Monika is an active volunteer, regularly engaging with her three children in community activities like working bees, beach clean ups, tree plantings and fundraising. Monika believes that volunteering not only produces tangible outcomes but also promotes a sense of wellbeing and community.
