Head Bellyful-er | Branch Coordinator Bellyful Hibiscus Coast

Bellyful Branch Coordinators (BC) lead their local branch. The role involves recruiting, training and managing the volunteers within their branch and ensuring all aspects of the branch are running smoothly. This may involve fundraising and community awareness events, various administration duties and maintaining social media presence as well as ensuring cookathons and deliveries run smoothly. Many of these responsibilities can be delegated to branch volunteers with the Branch Coordinator monitoring and supervising.
Our BC's work from home at times that suit their work and whānau commitments. Bellyful Hibiscus Coast has a core team of awesome volunteers including people in key roles such as Cookathon and Delivery Coordinators.

Passion for Bellyful’s aims and mission - a desire to support whānau with babies and young children in your community.
Good communication & organisation skills - great with people!
Basic computer skills – including word processing, simple spreadsheets & social media use and access to a computer or laptop and to the internet.

Vaccination against COVID-19 and immunity or vaccination against measles and whooping cough (pertussis). Please discuss with us if this is problematic for you, particularly in regard to whooping cough

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

An average of 4 to 8 hours per week, varying depending on branch activity. Cookathons are held approximately every 4 - 6 weeks. During these weeks there may be slightly more hours required, other weeks much less.
