Tikanga Programme Support

Kia Ora,
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would like to join us on our Tikanga journey. Our Tikanga tutor will lead the programme, bring in experts and arrange offsite trips.
You will have the opportunity to fully participate in this programme and learn alongside our residents who have disabilities and/or are elderly.
Your presence and help will support residents to actively participate in the programme - pushing wheelchairs, helping with afternoon tea, working in small groups etc.

No experience needed - just a desire to learn and an interest in supporting disabled and elderly residents to engage in activities they find meaningful.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Volunteers for our Tikanga programme will need to be available Tuesdays and/or Thursdays 2pm – 3:30pm

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by applying directly to the organisation. You will then be able to find out more about the role and how to proceed.
